Standard CCTV records footage passively. AI surveillance analyses the video in real time, detecting and classifying people, vehicles, objects, and behaviours. It identifies known faces, reads licence plates, detects perimeter breaches, and sends instant alerts. It replaces hours of manual review with seconds of searchable, AI-indexed footage.
Can your cameras operate at night without visible lighting?
Yes. All Turing cameras include infrared night vision with ranges up to 40 metres depending on the model. For facilities requiring full-colour night vision, we specify cameras with supplemental white light or starlight sensors that deliver colour footage in near-darkness conditions.
How is footage stored and how long is it retained?
Footage is stored on RAID-protected NVR systems with a configurable retention period, typically 30 to 90 days depending on camera count and storage. Critical AI-flagged events are retained separately. Optional cloud backup provides an off-site redundant copy for compliance and legal purposes.
Can the system integrate with our existing access control?
Yes. Turing AI cameras integrate natively with PDK cloud access control, which we also deploy. This allows access events to automatically pull associated camera footage, receive visual verification on door entry, and correlate access logs with video evidence in a single platform.
Is AI surveillance legal to operate in South Carolina?
